Jacksonville Dance Theatre, Inc. (JDT) is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization. Donations to JDT are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Dear JDT friends & family,

As you may have heard, organizations in Florida were dealt a devastating blow with the announcement of a veto of $32 million in arts and culture funding from next year’s budget for over 600 arts and culture organizations. We are one of the organizations impacted by this decision.

Some organizations throughout the state are now exploring canceling programming, reducing staff, or discontinuing operations altogether.

Jacksonville Dance Theatre is determined to stay operational. We are dedicated to the art of dance and to our community of performers and audiences.

We are asking for your help.

What you can do:

Make a Donation: Any amount, from $10 to $10,000, makes an impact.
Buy a Ticket: Help us “Fill the House” at the Florida Theatre and sell out our Fall concert on November 2. Your support at our concerts keeps us going. Can’t attend? Sponsor a ticket or group of tickets! thefloridatheatre.com
Sponsor a Dancer: For $5,000 you can underwrite a dancer’s pay for rehearsals and performances for the season.
Sponsor a Choreographer: For $3,000 you can underwrite a commissioned choreographer.
Spread the Word: If there are members in your circle who would be interested in supporting JDT, please share this message with them!

We are working hard behind the scenes and are optimistic for our 13th season. We will do everything we can to have a strong and vibrant season. Thank you for your support of Jacksonville Dance Theatre. We can do this together.
