Beer & Ballet brings beer and dance enthusiasts together. Students participate in an hour-long ballet barre class which occurs at a brewery. Participants of legal age are invited to purchase a brew and take their place at the bar. The class then concentrates on anatomical position, movement therapy, and beginning to intermediate ballet training.

The Florida Theatre is a unique, historic Jacksonville landmark dedicated to providing diverse and memorable arts and entertainment experiences. Thanks to their generosity, JDT has co-produced our annual dance repertory concerts with them since 2016. JDT and the Florida Theatre are equally committed to the resurgence of a downtown Jacksonville theatre district.

The Florida Ballet enrichs and inspires the cultural landscape of our community through the education and art of classical ballet. JDT dancers teach teen and adult modern and dance fitness classes at no cost to the Ballet, while the Ballet makes space available to JDT for weekly company rehearsals. The Florida Ballet is becoming a hub of dance activity in Jacksonville and JDT is honored to be a part of the growth of professional dance in our city.

The Jacksonville Symphony is North Florida’s leading nonprofit performing arts organization offering live performances in Jacoby Symphony Hall at the Jacksonville Center for the Performing Arts and other venues throughout the area.

Jacksonville University (JU) provides a nurturing environment and a highly customized education for every student, all on a beautiful waterfront campus. JU was one of JDT’s original partners, and remains an important institution to JDT to this day. JU’s support, such as in-kind rehearsal space from 2012-2019, was paramount to the establishment of JDT and to the quality and vibrancy of the work the company consistently produces.
